No game is perfect.
5.1 sound is good enough to hear people creeping up on you in cod4 for me but i really can't see 9.1 being that helpful and adding to that 'wow' factor.
I think game developers so work more on the audio quality to give us a more realistic and richer sound.
Basically a extreme i9, the thing is no game of application can even take advantage on of the core i7 at the moment but tech heads who want the best will buy it.
Amd has nothing on intel at the moment they need to invest in a new architecture instead of just making their processors faster by upping the v.core.
This holiday say if a child of age about 14 wanted a gaming console wouldn't you think they would pick a ps3.
